Snickers is now entered into Week 6 of the Million Dollar Cutest Dog Competition (9/6 - 9/12)
all votes from the previous week are now zeroed out and you have seven days to cast as many votes as you can in Week 6.
HOW IT WORKS...
the dog with the most votes after 7 days wins $500 and moves on to the semi-finals.
send the direct link to your friends and family (below) and ask them to vote for Snickers once each day - they may even have ideas on how we can get even more votes.

TO GET MORE VOTES...
according to their website, some common ways to get votes are to send an email blast to all your family and friends with a direct link to Snicker's entry (below), post on Facebook, post on MySpace, write a blog, get on TV (??!), post a comment on the blog at www.cutestdogcompetition.com/blog, tape a flyer to your pet store wall, put an ad on your website.
if he doesn't win this week, there are still 6 more weekly contests.
remember, every dog starts with zero votes on Sunday.

extra day to vote!
you have an extra day to cast votes for Snickers this week, due to technical difficulty at the Cutest Dog contest site.
here is the official explanation from their website blog:
On Wednesday at 3pm PST, hardware failure brought the server and the Cutest Dog Competition down until 5am PST. Due to this we are extending the contest an extra day. This means you have until Sunday at 12:00am PST (Saturday night at midnight) to get as many votes as you can. This is true for all 9 remaining weeks. They will run from Sunday morning until Saturday night.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We are just as upset as you are. We wish you the best of luck in the Cutest Dog Competition!
